We Skyped with Snarl last night! He's still on Bora Bora. They've stayed there for about 1.5 weeks while trying to repair their dinghy motor (with no success - I think they just plan on rowing it from here on out). It's the first place they've been since Mexico that I actually knew about before they arrived. He said there are tons of French honeymooners there and that the south part of the island is very classically beautiful - white sand beaches, cerulean sea, etc.
Carl sounded great. Their next destination is Suwarrow Island, which is apparently a protectorate of New Zealand in the Cook Islands and has had a book written about it (An Island to Oneself, by Tom Neale).
Raleigh is still chugging along on board and everybody seems to be happy and healthy. We did not have Carl show us his tattoo while we were Skyping, which I am now disappointed about.
