Kyle skied the Birkie last weekend! It was his ninth Birkie, and it was cold (1 degree at the start) and clear for the race. He skied classic, and finished in 4:32. More than ever before, he sounded pleased with the effort he put forth during the ski, which made me happy. I was bummed to miss out, but this wasn't the year for me to do it. Hopefully next year.
