We went to Snow Mountain Ranch a few weeks ago! It was, as it always is, awesome.
I include this picture of Sylvie's smoothie face because she drank this delicious smoothie before we got on the road. Just as we were approaching Berthoud Pass, she threw up this entire smoothie all over herself and PD and the book in her lap. Because we were approaching the pass, there was nowhere to stop, so she had to wait until we got to the pass before we could pull over and clean her up. I was ill prepared for the clean-up. It was not, not, not ideal.

We stayed at a cabin with a gorgeous view and we saw...a double rainbow! It turns out that Kyle and I were the only people on the planet to miss out on the YouTube Double Rainbow viral video a few months ago, so our friends Sarah and Toby shared it with us.
Even though Sylvie ended up being a bit sick all weekend, she rallied. We went for a hike with Elsie and Kate. Here we are, stopped for a snack on a bench with a view.
Sylvie and I went on the summertime tubing hill, which was terrifyingly fast. But Sylvie wanted to do it again and again, so we did.
And, a trail ride! This year, we rode Sturgis. But Sylvie's horse from last year, Aspen, was in front of us, and Sarah and Elsie rode on that one.
Meanwhile, the boys played. A good time was had by all.
