Carl ran into my grad school friend Radha in O'Hare Airport a couple weeks ago. She lives in Sydney and was just on a layover in O'Hare on her way to Boston. She happened to be two gates down from Carl, and he recognized her in the airport! How fun and what a teeny, tiny world it is among educated, professional, environmentally-focused 30-something Americans. They sent me a picture had seemed to have a great time catching up with each other.
