Golden had its candlelight walk down the main street on Friday night last weekend and the Foothills Art Center hosted the big man, Santa Claus, for visits with kids. Sylvie and Sam insisted on wearing Halloween costumes to the entire event and I was OK with that because both costumes kept the kids warm. So here we have a duck and an alligator, sitting on Santa's lap.
Sylvie asked him for the names of all of his reindeer and also asked him if Rudolf is real. He gave her all the reindeers' names without missing a beat and assured her that Rudolf is real. She asked Santa for another watch because she lost the one he gave her last year. Sam did not interact with Santa, but tolerated sitting on his lap.
