A fun trip to Snow Mountain Ranch for Kyle to do a 21k freestyle race, and for us to hang out with Jay, Caroline, Alison, Josh, Elias, Wyatt, and Jesse. Beautiful weather and good times.
Kyle skied the race. That's him in the front, on the trail that passed by our cabin.
We explored the trails and soaked up the sun.
During Kyle's race, the rest of the crew went sledding on tube sleds. Super fast down a hill.
Sylvie finally got herself some clip-in skis and she's very happy about them.

Caro and I went on a nice loop around a reservoir. We saw only a couple people out on the trails. So peaceful.
There was playing in the snow and snowshoeing by some.
Jay is like a pied piper.
At night, we turned off the light and talked by the light of the fireplace. We noted that our ancestors had done it this way, just like us, relaxing at night. With the Avett Brothers playing on an iphone in the background, and someone's headlamp lighting up the kids' fort.
