Our happy place

For our seventh wedding anniversary, we went to Snow Mountain Ranch. Spent a long weekend in the snow with our kids and two other families. Six adults, five kids, and three dogs in a 3BR cabin. Lots of fun.

The traditional gifts for the seventh anniversary are copper and wool. Kyle gave me copper mugs (and the fixings for moscow mules) and a wool hat. Very thoughtful, and the moscow mules were appreciated by all the adults.

We do love this place.

Ice skating.

Yann and Sylvie skiing. They met at Great Beginnings in Madison, and Yann's family has since moved to Denver. It's fun to see them together. Yann is Sylvie's oldest friend.

Yukking it up at the climbing wall.

You can't tell from this picture, but Kyle was pulling both kids in our chariot. Sylvie had gotten tired and so we jammed them both in the little pod. It was a very tight fit.

Pajama twinsies. Sascha and Sam.

The whole gang, minus Bodhi and me.

Yann also lost his front teeth early, when he fell on a bike in Madison.
