Sam is about to spend almost two weeks with my parents while Sylvie and I take a big trip to Italy. In preparation for that time, I have been thinking about things Sam likes to do, what his schedule looks like, and things he says. I'm recording all of this here for posterity and so we can look back on it someday and feel wistful and nostalgic for these simple times.
Hee doh: Here you go (when handing you something)
Ha peas: Help please
Haho: Yellow

Ahs kee (whispered, and pronounced slowly): Ice cream, which he usually wants for dessert
Uhdee: Upstairs. He also says "pee uhdee" which means he's going upstairs to pee (in his diaper, but he now likes to have privacy)
Tee tah: Teeny tiny
Dose: Snow. He's a little upset now because we only have "tee tah dose" left.
Hoff: Dog, or Bodhi. Sometimes he says "Boodee" now too.
Eepee: Airplane
Dah pah: Dog park
Ah miss!: What he says when he tries to throw something and misses his target. Also the name for the game of throwing his sleep friend into his bed.
No Bob do dah: Bobo won't do that. To state the negative, he just begins his sentence with "No"
Keen uh: Clean up. He likes cleaning up if we do it together.
Tay tay: Caitlyn, our nanny.

Things he loves:
- Being with Mama, Daddy, Sissy, and Hoff
- Putting on his own sock and shoes
- Playing hide and seek. He loves both hiding and seeking
- Kicking and throwing balls and other things
- Stamps and stickers
- Painting and coloring
- Watching food being prepared, up on his stool, in the kitchen
- Music and dancing, when we dance with him
- Being loud and silly
- Reading books
- Playgrounds and playing in the sand
- When we say, "More? You want more?!" in the voice of the man from Oliver Twist
- Annoying his sister, playing with his sister, following his sister, mimicking his sister
- Doing airplanes
- Snuggling and talking about his day before he goes to bed
