Quintessential Golden Days

Ann mentioned in a recent post about discovering tubing on Clear Creek when our friend Kathleen Hurley was visiting from Seattle.  It was a great visit!  So good to catch up with Kathleen and have a chance to hang out.  So nice to reconnect with such a great, old friend!  And what Ann didn't mention was that during that time when Kathleen was in town, we experienced quintessential Golden/Colorado days.  Mountain biking in the morning followed by getting on the river in the afternoon.  The first morning Kathleen was in town, Ann and I arranged for a babysitter to come over so the three of us could head out for a mtb ride together.  It was so fun to get out with Ann and Kathleen!  We had a fabulous time riding up at Centennial Cone, one of our favorite rides in the area.  I even got a few shots of the occasion.  Ann and I realized once again that taking some time to do things we love Together is such a treat and something we need to do more often.

I even rode ahead at one point so I could hide in the shrubs and get some action shots.
